Frequently Asked Questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Donations are directed to the ASOC NAL MEX DE ENS DE COMPUTADORAS, A.C (ANMEC), a non-profit civil association based in the Valley of Mexico City. ANMEC will use the donations, at its discretion, for charitable purposes. Donations are tax-deductible in Mexico up to the maximum allowed by law. ANMEC tax ID is ANM-980113-KQ8.
If you make a donation via bank transfer to ANMEC, you should receive the corresponding receipt within 24 to 48 hours for your Mexican tax return. Please check your spam/junk mail folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox. If you need an additional copy of your receipt for tax purposes in another country, please contact us.
We advise donors who are not residents of Mexico to consult with their tax advisor to determine if their donation is tax-deductible.
In the case of large donations, we may be required to report names and addresses to the SAT. ANMEC is legally obligated to report this information about its largest donors and in-kind donations, such as shares valued at over $100,000 MXN.
How will my donation be used?
ANMEC mission is to make knowledge of ERP processes and tools like SAP healthy, open, and accessible to every individual and organization with goals of efficiency, growth, and progress. ANMEC Foundation programs are sustained by donations and contributions from community members. Donations from supporters like you are our most flexible source of funding. These resources directly support our advocacy campaigns (for example, when we ask Big Tech to protect your privacy), research and publications such as Supply Chain Process Guides, educational programs like the SAP ERP Process Workshop and modular courses, manuals and training materials, updates and listings of new transaction codes or Fiori tiles, and our Business Analyst reports. They also cover part of our annual ANMEC Festival.
